After graduating from university, having studied graphic design, Jonathan Hughes-Lewis says the natural progression was for him to enter the family business, Jonathan David Jewellers in Cardiff, and take on the stewardship of the company. His life within the jewellery industry began at an early age and he has seen the changes within the industry firsthand, not only changes to his own business, but also industry wide. Like many businesses, Jonathan David Jewellers has grown naturally, but during Covid had to really adapt and embrace the digital age in order to continue to progress to where it is today.
