Melanie Eddy is a renowned sculptural jeweller, with pieces held in public and private collections, including the Victoria & Albert Museum. Her signature faceted forms, still made by hand in her London, England studio, first emerged over 15 years ago. Melanie serves as Director of The Association for Contemporary Jewellery, a Maker Trustee for the Crafts Council, a Trustee for The Silversmiths & Jewellers Charity and serves in an advisory capacity for a number of industry organisations both in the UK and abroad. She is involved in education both within a higher education and further education capacity, and is an associate lecturer and visiting lecturer at a number of institutions within the UK. She is actively involved in a number of initiatives looking at supporting diversity within the jewellery trade and more widely within Craft.
